Easter weekend and Ambrose's 3rd birthday

After we had an exciting party for Ambrose at the Wardlaw house on Saturday we headed out to Mitchell.  Ambrose tagged along with nana and papa Streit and stayed the night.

  We got in a quick snowmobile ride on Saturday night and some playing in the yard.      

  We woke up and had a big breakfast and then started a great big Easter egg hunt.  Emma had clues to read and Ambrose helped find the hidden eggs.

 Sunday turned out to be really windy but the sun finally came out and we had a quick play on the snowbanks.  



Dave and Brandy picked up Ambrose on Sunday afternoon.  Mom cooked up a big Easter supper and Naomi's mom came over to join us.  Afterwards mom and dad headed to Winnipeg for the night so they could get a good start on their trip home.

Monday River and I went to the land to get my quad running and install a new snowplow onto it.  Turned out to be a great day in the bush.
